Open Board / Pollution, sex, identity related questions
« on: September 18, 2013, 06:33:58 PM »
1)
How do you know that 'mutual pollution' is reffered to as is because the reciprical partner was a free citizen?
Why do you exclude the possibility that the term was (at least partially) used because they engaged in same-sex sex?

2)
What kind of sex do you think masculine men (grero men) do/should have?
How is it (if at all) different from 'gay sex'?

3)
Can someone self-identify as grero if he isn't attracted to women, but attracted to masculine man and he himself is masculine as well?

By saying that engaging in rough-and-tumble play, do you mean that aggression is more of a masculine trait?

Thanks for your response.

I still don't receive any kind of notification to my email inbox. Could you look into the issue and offer some solution/suggestions?

Come on! :) I'd like to ask other questions as well, but they may be dependent on this answer.

We will have a veeeerryy sloooow conversation, it seems.

Or at least tell me what's holding you back.

Written response is also okay, if doing a video is too much of hassle.

Are you making progress? I'm still curious to hear your answer. :)

Take your time, I usually prefer a thought-out answer to a half-baked one. :)

The way I see it I didn't get any mail from whatisgrero@gmail.com. Not even to my spam folder. And not even any other mail containing the word "grero".

Here comes my first question, which may be the most important as well:

How do you define 'masculine'?

It is important because you reference this concept excessively (e.g. "masculine likes masculine"), but you don't say (to my knowledge) what you mean exactly.

Please don't just say it's something you know/notice about others (I remember you gave a response like this in one of your videos), but rather give a detailed description/definition. A definition that can be used to determine if certain person or activity is masculine or not -- by your standard, of course.

p.s. I won't be able to respond to your answer in this thread, will I?
p.p.s I've set notify for the thread, but it seems I don't receive email notifications. Is something wrong with my settings?

YouTube would reset the stats and my account can't upload long ones anymore anyways.

That confirms my suspicion about complications. I'm glad I asked you beforehand.

I understand and agree with your "deminishing returns" point.

Though, this is what I plan: I'm probably going to listen to it again (I want to understand the points you make in the book well enough before I pose questions/critique), and when I encounter something I can easily fix, I'll do so, and save/export. It doesn't really require too much extra effort on my part in addition to listening to the whole thing again.

In this case there is a slight return for a slight effort/investment.

If I do so like this, would you upload the improved versions? Or shouldn't I even bother sending them to you?

Hello andkon,

I've stumbled upon your site some days ago, and listened to the audiobook on youtube.
I find the subject rather fascinating.

I've noticed that the sound could use a little bit of editing (e.g. the places where you make a mistake of speech and correct immediately).

I'm not an audio editing expert by any means, but I think a little cutting with Audacity at the right times may do wonders.

Would you be interested in uploading the updated audio material if I do this?
